I find it strange that SFR trades while TLM, having voluntary halted last friday because of speculation, is still 'off the air' because it couldn't deliver any goods by 10 Tues morning when interestingly the story changed from Friday's 'market speculation re the JV' to Tuesday's 'pending the release of an announcement concerning the Company’s interest in the Springfield Exploration Joint Venture an actual SFR offer' to yesterday's expanded information that SFR had actually made an offer in respect of TLM's 30% and today's echoing of that advice/information.

Is it a case of Goliath v David that keeps SFR on air? ie not material v material?

It doesn't make sense to me at all.

What we don't know though is what is fuelling the strong SFR buying. Is it to do with buying the 30%? Somone knows that it will happen and be good for SFR? I doubt that such special information would be made available. It would be privileged. But apart from that, the continuing suspension of TLM should mean that nothing has been agreed upon, meaning that SFR may not buy the 30%.

So, I am dismissing the speculation that the rise is mainly because of the offer. It has different cement to that!

Let's hope that it has something to do with the SFR/AUR farm-in land, a lot to do with it in fact!
