I bought into SFG last October so I have done quite ok. As you all say this is going to take 3 to 5 years for the 20x return. Therefore I'm looking for something else that is similar in the start up phase.

I have DEG (de Grey mining) as I ve held many gold plays before ( mainly with not so good results) It is a gamble type of thing. At least the De Grey forum in this hotcopper website is very very active.

I ll look into RFX and FBR.

For the younger people amongst you:

I held many many many FMG shares when they were like a few cents many years ago.
I was advised by a work colleague that management was not reliable and I should swop into "Evans estate and Xanadu both wine companies. Both went bust.
If that work colleague would read this he knows my name. the best part of playing the stock market is the adrenalin. If you look for returns, invest in a exchange traded funds like one of the Platinum funds where you can choose your risk and geographical focus by choosing your fund inside the group.

I don't have any of these funds but should buy into it after the next major market correction that will happen in the next 2 to 3 years fore sure.

I look for the adrenaline so that it is enjoyable to open my computer.
