there are about 1000 companies listed on the ASX - I'm sure you could find something to your liking

It depends on your requirements. I'm still trying desperately to get that nest-egg together/buy a house/etc so I wouldn't take me too seriously, but I reckon on a price-to-book basis, and on a risk basis, the major banks are looking pretty cheap at the moment. I know very little about banking, though... The hype says buy all the lithium, although there is a slow-down in mining, it's cyclical, and an oversupply is coming on stream - we're simply not building enough Teslas to keep up with the hype. There is always the super-low-fee index fund approach - it has a lot to recommend it. I suggest looking at Motley Fool and then working out why what they're saying is wrong, that might help you find a diamond in the rough
