Was not there an announcement of growing some type of crop for fish feed pellets close by in the Ord river scheme so guess that would maybe mitigate any biosecurity results ?
Also the ponds themselves create fish feed from zooplankton when fertiliser is added .
Also there is a company Ridley that was working with the CSIRO and SFG over a natural feed for prawns do not know what ever happened to the results .
