Yes Boz
I still have some hope that management do have something up their sleeve that we are unaware of. Otherwise what am I doing holding onto these shares. I should be trying to sell them on market. They say fear and greed are the 2 strongest emotions that influence the market. I reckon hope is a close third.
There is one thing I cannot get my head around is that this management team for all intention purposes are intelligent educated blokes. Around 18 months ago I could see and I'm sure many others too that we needed drastic action to allay the destruction of our market cap and yet our management have done nothing over this period except focus on legal action.
Of course some of it was necessary and certainly worth fighting for but not at the expense of everything else including the virtual sacrifice of shareholders in the process. Any half intelligent person knows if funding requires discounted shares as payment the stock price will suffer. I think some of us thought that the Lind contract would have soon been neutralized by a big joint venture partner or something else very significant. As history now tells us this didn't happen.
From my point of view it just seems like they have concentrated on keeping the company solvent, paying themselves an unjustifiable salary, participating in as much legal argument as their cover for not proving up any resources.
OBL is a listed company with shareholders. I just don't get it. If I had of been running the show I would of pulled out all stops to get shareholders on side especially with a smashed oil price and bearish environment. As a first priority I would of gone all out to prove up resources and therefore been in the best position to attract a joint partner. Legal argument would have been secondary not the only game in town that management have demonstrated to us over and over again in my opinion.
I really think their performance or lack of over this challenging period has been disgraceful and certainly not worthy of their station.
Their will be no justice. At the end of it all management will walk out unscathed with plenty of money in their pockets. Their only concern will be how to deal with this on their CV.
All in my humble opinion of course !
As the late and very great ex-prime minister M.F. said " life wasn't meant to be easy".
