Ron Prefontaine has over 33 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and serves Strata-X as an Chairman of the Strata-X Board of Directors. Between 2001 and 2011 he was an Executive and Managing Director of two successful Australian Securities Exchange listed companies, Arrow Energy and Bow Energy. Arrow Energy was taken over in 2010 for $3.5 billion and Bow Energy in late 2011 for $550 million. Ron received his BSc in Geophysics from the University of British Columbia in 1979. His strengths are asset growth recognition and the management of corporate growth. In 2009 Ron received a lifetime achievement award in recognition to his services to the Australian petroleum industry.
