The Yowie Group says its newly launched TR exclusive Yowie Explorers Pack, which made its debut at the TFWE this month, will be available to purchase from counters in Q2 next year.
Having established a strong domestic presence in Australia, US, Canada and the UK, the company has set its sights firmly on exploring opportunities in other international domestic markets and travel retail.
“The first shipment date is March 2018, so we hope to have the Yowie Explorers Pack in travel retail distribution in Europe and Asia Pacific regions by early Q2, 2018,” confirms Amy Wilson, Vice President of World Travel Retail at Yowie Group.
Commenting on the TFWE event, she says: “The response from buyers at Cannes was overwhelmingly positive as the item is unique to the travel retail channel, with the added benefit of having an educational element.”
As reported, the pack is designed to encourage learning through play, as well as create an awareness of endangered species. In addition to the chocolate and explorer kit, kids can download free games and apps from the company’s website.
According to Yowie, which aims to deliver ‘confectionery with a conscience’, the Explorer’s Pack is not only a great present when visiting family or friends, but also a ‘perfect gift’ for parents to give to their children during long flights.
