"Platinum Capital has released its quarterly investment manager's report which showed the company underperformed the market by quite some margin.The company's portfolio fell 0.6 per cent during the last quarter, compared with a 6.5 per cent gain for the MSCI AC World Index.In fact, the portfolio has underperformed the MSCI AC World Index over the past year, three years and five years as well."PMC's lagging performance is largely the result of a far greater weighting in those areas that have performed poorly over the last six to 12 months," wrote portfolio manager Andrew Clifford."Clearly, for the present, we are well and truly out of step with the market in terms of where we believe the attractive investments are in the current environment."
Share price doesn't seem to care today anyway.
