In other LME markets, zinc for delivery in three months rose $103, or 4.8 percent, to $2,233 a ton, after touching $2,240 earlier, the highest since May 2008. Prices climbed after a 48-hour strike in Peru, the second-largest producer of the metal, raised supply concerns. Aluminum, nickel, lead and tin also advanced.
