I agree that the company is headed in the right direction operationally and that we have the right person in Ralph to drive it.
There are not many start ups that go from zero revenue to US$6.35 mil after 18 months and are projected to grow at 70% in the next year.
In addition to Minrose's excellent comments on the conference call I would like to add the following :
They are moving deeper into existing markets which are all multibillion dollar markets.
The takeover of Smartbow by Zoetis has turned into a big plus with Zoetis planning full scale deployment starting calendar year 2019. I believe this is a big part of the revenue upgrade.
The Clearblade partnership has provided Sensera with a cloud based platform for its new vertical of patient tracking in hospitals with pre defined treatment events. I have since learned that this also includes equipment tracking so that the hospital knows at all times where their equipment is which provides efficient and optimal use and therefore big cost benefits.
I also liked the expansion of their mining tracking tech to railway safety which is another big market.
Talking about mining - it seems they are getting involved with autonomous mining.
And talking about autonomous it seems the licencing of our tech to Decawave is a masterstroke as it reduces our R & D spend going forward and we are now inadvertently part of the exciting autonomous vehicle growth market through precision movement data.
The organ on a chip vertical seems to be moving very nicely now with Harvard working with potential customers. We could have some big news from this area in coming months.
I doubt we are eligible for any Australian R & D rebates as all our R & D is based in Boston and Berlin. We do not develop anything in Australia.
We just need to clear this overhang.
