well i sold some on the bounce up again unfortunately at 21c -just a bit sick of these tech stocks that are hungry for money from holders - I havent managed them real well of late - my biotechs doing well generally, but tech stocks the good ones i often sell a bit early and been left in a few duds -
I have just gone through trades last 2 years to see if that is right:
AFY (APT) up 250% HOWEVER:
ESK -up 90% ISX - DOWN 60%
PHK -up 280% GBI - DOWN 40%
BCT -DOWN 20%
CR8(FGO) down 50%
PPL down 50%
UBN DOWN 80%
OOK DOWN 30%
MBE(now IMS) -down 70%
1PG down 80%
CFO DOWN 75%
TSN DOWN 60%
RAP DOWN 75%
SYT DOWN 70%
XTD DOWN 70%
EVS DOWN 60%
Obviously I am a bad picker! Not like le fevre- HOWEVER , Many of those stocks i still made some money on- however , in my brain I remember the 3 on the left!! I am a hard task master! That is the opposite of what Loise Bedford writed about much trading psychology - that men particularly over estimate their ability!
With SE1 I have sales at 40c and 30 c in the past also, yet i could hardly remember being in until recently- there were another 4 or 5 stocks could have been added in the list above where the price is the same as where i sold!
So I still say I havent handled them real well as there is a lot of money could have been made in the sector _ i was in wrong ones or didnt take enough profits in likes of one page and even urbanise where i had big profits, but excuse my indulgence (but It was certainly instructive for me)- i guess rap and gbi are nearly biotechs- lbt was another in that sector i had big big profits in and didnt take enough off table
I like to hold long term but in this day and age in this spec sector I just dont know anymore!! I dont think I can with my strike rate of long term success stories - ede was another i wanted to hold for long term but have sold down
