At the AGM they talked about fast tracking the gold the`y had in the ground, and how rich and valuable the tailings dump was. They also said there was no need to build a plant site as they could easily toll treat it as they were very close to a number of plants
There has been a lot of drilling proving up the resource and confirming what they have in ounces but every time they employ another person they go back to the start.
Dont they believe what the results are as I see no need to continue to build on the resource if it has so much gold.
How do you leave 2+mill ounces in the ground without at least having a trial run where they think it is economical.
IMO I think the grade is very poor compared to other discoveries and that is why they wont mine it and are gambling on hitting a mother load elsewhere on their vast holdings as some of the other explorers have. To me something does not add up.
The new executive appointment is a big plus but to say we are looking two years from now is disappointing and not positive for the company if we have the gold we are suppose to have.Although I hold this company in a super fund and I am well in front you still like to see it grow with the rest of the market. many talk about the long term future of the company, but ours is uncertain as we are relying heavily on gold holding above current levels and in two years time who knows. It is always good to have a cash flow and take advantage of what is a very good gold price. Gambling on the gold price is not good business practise, nor is stockpiling it.
With all the exploration and drilling that has taken place there must be ample evidence of where the best gold lies and we should look at testing that area to prove the drilling is accurate or confirm that it is going to be difficult.
Don`t wish to make it as simple as that, nor am I a mining expert but in my younger days a company I worked for did do that and it certainly made them a lot of money from what they found.
Just my thoughts as I am frusted from having to wait a further 2 years if I continue to hold.
I believe we need a very good explanation why we are leaving 2 mill + ounces of gold in the ground at today price.
