Canaccord turns bullish on Senex Energy, viewing its 25-year deal with pipeline operator Jemena as a potential template that it could use for other big developments. Yesterday's deal will see Jemena fund A$140 million of infrastructure spending at the Atlas project, including a gas plant and 60-kilometer pipeline. Canaccord thinks this build-own-operate model could also work for Senex's Western Surat Gas Project in Queensland state. Indeed, management said it would be remiss not to explore the option further.
