Whitelight - so you think there is no merit to the capital raising challenges the company speak of, and that there ARE actually avenues for an ASX listed entity to attract European investor funds and they're playing this out to pull a swifty on shareholders?
Not having a go, just curious.
I agree with Bartom that some European exposure would greatly benefit the company, and while I am not thrilled with having my money locked up in a foreign private company, nor liking the sound of issuing up to 250 million shares (only 297 mill on offer now) via private placement, the €60 million it generates could put some serious wind in the sails of EPG leading up to a potential European listing. That is, provided they can get the right people to make the drilling operations a success.
Or they could just squander it. Who knows?
At the moment, I'm in favour of this move, even knowing a European listing may never happen, or be years away still.
