"Need to remind the board that they rejected the $7 TO in May"
Do I need to remind you again the upfront offer was not $7 it was AUD$6.95 or to be precise it was US$5.21.
The US$5.25 proposal whereby we Santos shareholders became guarantors and financial backers for the bidders by heavily hedging Santos' future earnings was nonsensical and ridiculously risky.
It would've been given little if any consideration by the Board.
