Diamond market is only strong in certain sections (Large, Fancy Colours) overall the market is well below the peak of 2011 and has been fairly flat for the last four years with smalls and brown goods fairing worse. Merlin have had two sales in the last couple of years without releasing full results and not all goods selling (doesn't sound great).
Merlin has predominantly small brown and white diamonds with a few nice very white large and very few fancy colours (yellow).
They have never to my knowledge had a significant blue, pink or green sold. They also have never verified the "green" stones they reportedly sent for expert examination.
