Ann: Sconi Off-take Update, page-239

Been thinking about this Townsville battery factory and just wanted to throw a theory out there to gauge how it may or may  not be valid. 

The battery factory is due to complete a feasibility study over the next couple of months, colliding with Auz in that regard. Both organisations currently have the attention of government's at state level. 

Is there any chance that everything is being stalled with regards funding from SK until the government makes a decision on not only Sconi but also Townsville. 

The reason I suggest this is due to the fact that
1.Auz are very eager to get the drill spinning at Flem. Nothing really out of the ordinary with this of course but maybe they are especially keen to prove up another resource ASAP.
2. No input from SK but still putting a supply contract in place, either way auz will supply them but possibly not stipulating where the resource may come from??
3. Politicians and local government clearly very interested in both projects.

When it becomes clear what the government plans are then maybe they may fund a large chunk of Sconi and earmark that ore for the battery factory, leaving Flem ore for SK - depending on whether another HPAL will be built at Flem or just expanded at Sconi to cope with Flem I dunno if any of this is feasible just throwing it out there.

Hope you all get my drift. A field day for you here Vintage. All speculation welcome.
