Something I found when researching GBG announcements on asx.com.au. Refer to 31 Jan 2011 announcement but presentation dated February 2011.page 15.
Did you know there was supposed to be a joint venture between Ansteel and GBG for a China pellet plant. It was to produce 4Mtpa and located in Bayuquan steel mill site.
GBG actually had a company registered in Hong Kong named Karara Pellet Plant in 2012 and 2013.
The construction cost was $AUD200m and it was to completed in mid 2012,
Did it actually go ahead?
Just found this. So they did it - but it doesn't seem to be in partnership with GBG. It could have been done by KML.
