They export magnetite pellets which at a higher price than concentrate, but their cost is $AUD98.0 per tonne. They sold 2.37m tonnes of pellets last calendar year. Their profit was $AUD112.9 million - suggest you look at their financial accounts.
I wonder what a 8Mpta pellet plant would cost - locate at Geraldton so as to avoid taking gas to Karara. The 2012 plan for Ansteel had a cost of $200m to build pellet plant.
Then sell pellets on open market.
