The ENGIE contract is for 40 TJ/d (15 PJ/yr) but according to the ann some of that will come from STO portfolio gas not GLNG.
The only gas available for Train 2 in the whole of eastern Australia is the Arrow gas in the Surat. Even that would cost billions to develop, and would need to go through QGC's pipeline to get to Gladstone then be transferred to GLNG. I am sure Shell would have had multiple discussions with GLNG about it over the years but for whatever reason no deal has been done. Shell are probably holding out for more money than GLNG are willing to pay.
