I found that article useful and it makes mention of those fully franked dividends a couple of times. The way STO are going dividends are inevitable and hopefully not yet priced in to the share price at the moment.
My STO holding make up about 14.5% of my total holdings so a dividend would be very handy right now. That would be a large part of my holdings that were not dividend payers becoming a great source of income. 3% is better than a bank account and a damn sight better than nothing....
Another point from that article was the rumour of the purchase by STO of Quadrant. I don't really like that idea as we have enough debt already and that would only stall the payment of any possible dividends.
