Hi justlocal,
It matters nothing what they release to a moot market and sceptical investor base that haven’t really got A bloody clue what it’s all about anyway.. All you seem to be interested in is crystal clear rhetoric into profit and fiscal feel good buzz phrases , yet you openly state we are doing business in a communist environment where the very meaning of that, would mean there would be no ( or very little) profit anyway . What is it you want then ? A super profit deal from a communist government ?
Hopefully they are saving up the real meat on the announcements for when they can release to a wider audience who will actually start to get it and respond accordingly.
Also just to add, I have worked on such arrangements outside of Iraq and inside ( currently) and they are no different, and no company I have worked with have openly disclosed the full terms of their unique profit agreement outside of it being in line to what is a broad country industry standard....certain confidentiality clauses are in place and no 2 agreements are exactly the same. What they offer to shell, may be different to what they offer to bp and it is not in their interests to openly disclose that...and they certainly do not need to do so.
I am certain Petro Cupet has insisted that the full fiscal terms must remain confidential and if you don’t like that or think it’s not right for shareholders ... well that’s kind of tough, as that’s the way it very likely is. Do you actually have experience of these things ? If you wish to remain invested under such disclosure regs , then some part of not knowing the full facts will very likely have to be accepted.
The company has advised the Ts and Cs are similar to the block 9 arrangements, which is also similar to all Cuban PSA verbiage that Sherritt et al received in the past , openly available on “Google” .
No disrespect but IMO there is more than enough decent meat on that announcement to update the sharebase and market at this stage.
I also think over egging the pudding to a completely stale audience is widely acknowledged at HQ and the release of more salient factual news may be being saved for a day ( hopefully soon) when it can release to a completely new , more risk averse, more sector understanding, more sophisticated audience who can take the facts at value and decide if they want to invest into it and be a part of a very promising emerging story . it is all completely wasted here ATM.....feel free to differ, but the facts are clear.
There was more than enough good meat on the recent the Beehive Ann and look how that went down....
no issues with you, you ask good questions but end of the day, this is pretty sensitive stuff and we have a dead market and a dead audience , why release more than needed just now add to that, just some stuff we are never going to know, accept or leave...
Just my views as always..
