It wasn't really a tip, nan. I just noted the coincidence and thought that that fate may have a role to play. I did not back it though. Anyway, it finished much closer to the ambulance than the placegetters did.

    Have I voted yet?

MLX a rival suitor? Suitor? Please explain nan!

This is an interesting extract from Investmet's (read 'Michael Fotios' submission as per https://www.aurisminerals.com.au/wp-content/uploads/180316-Notice-of-General-Meeting.pdf

'We have been involved in, and aware, of the mineralisation of this region for over 30 years and we believe that the Company has the best ground position in the area.'

So, MF probably worked as a geologist in this area back in the 80's is my guess. It was just a gold exploration area back then. Homestake employed him (see below!). This is an extract from a news article in 2012 about him:
"Fotios graduated from the University of WA with honours in geology in 1983 and took up a job with Homestake Australia.
"It was a great company to work for," Fotios recalls, with the US-owned company's exploration successes in the 1980s giving him plenty to cut his teeth on."

This is the article. Perhaps you remember it nan. https://thewest.com.au/news/wa/fotios-spreads-his-wings-ng-ya-304214

Anyway, back to Homestake and the western Bryah. Research that I did about 6 years ago revealed that Homestake hit copper near Big Billy in the early 1980s. I found that info in the Gleneagle Gold prospectus. However, it did not take it any further, even though the copper was at the end of the hole, suggesting of course that there was more copper below. Maybe MF supervised that drill hole. Maybe that whet the then young man's copper appetite for this area. Now he is back in a big way and wants to show Homestake as not being smart in not pursuing copper then.

    Big Billy remains underexplored!!
