I did the sums the other day, I reckon De Grussa will run out of ore 6mths before they finish mining Monty.

It's interesting to see how a Company progresses, DeG was discovered 8 years ago, it took about 4 years for them to drill out and build a mine, damn fine work. Month was discovered 2 years ago and accoring to the Feas will be in full production at the end of Q2 2019FY, ie A 2018 Christmas Present, which means it will take them almost the same time to drill off a satellite deposit 1/10 of the size of DeG and mine a few km's of decline, a bit tardy IMO.

Now given what is publicly available the concentrator at DeG will be out of ore in the latter half of calendar year 2021, about 4 1/2 years from now, given the time taken from discovery to ore production at Monty, ~4 years, the clock is ticking pretty loudly I would have thought. I wonder if we are going to see the rats leaving the ship over the next year.

It does however make me ponder about the only other resource SFR have available, Thaduna, and if they are going to sit on their hands until it's too late? Cause at the speed these guys now move, the window is only about a year to commit to development of Thaduna or risk running out of ore feed. Of course that excludes any additional ore found at DeG, any virgin discoveries just won't be available before it's too late.

It will also be interesting to see if there is a correction coming for SFR, they have about 400kt of Cu in Reserve and at a MC of $1B, that's $2,500t Cu which is a bloody high value...
