If a member (or members) of the family were considering selling a significant portion of stock, would the share split in any way assist them?
I just can't see why retail investors would be badgering the company for a share split with any veracity and certainly not enough to invoke an egm. Just seems very odd to me. Obviously doesn't affect the fundamentals of the company, and I'm not going to lose sleep over it, but strange none the less.
