Oh and one of the biggest factors was that to put this new material into a state of the art war ship was that its incredibly light composition changes the buoyancy of a very precise vessel. Some engineering is involved to ensure and existing vessel with a different weight and center of gravity performs the same as it did previously. Less weight is a good problem to have but does require some changes when applied to existing hardware. New vessels however could incorporate it into design and make better use of it.
