If we judge the result of the merger thus far, in terms of financial gain or loss, it would seem that the only parties to show any actual profit are the Parliament and the lawyers.

The Parliament has profited by the imposition of its gratuitous taxes, and the lawyers by the processing of the said Parliament's interfering laws.

Let's hope that, in the fullness of time, we the shareholders will also appear in the profit column.
