I sent an email to management asking about this a year ago, when I did not receive a response (and following the internalisation of the management, which is now being taking external again) I decided that I could do without CTN. I was becoming concerned that I could not correctly assess whether all the changers were good or bad, and I was having trouble even confirming (I could not) that the stated returns matched mine.
I like LICs as they have simpler reporting than the listed trusts (STW/VAS etc), but I have moved into more conservative holdings ARG and AFI. I worry less - I think I have found my happy risk-return place in the Universe.
