I find it a bit ominous that Turnbull has taken:
"Peter Freyberg, a coal industry veteran who last year urged the Australian government to back out of the Paris climate agreement, will join a retinue of more than 20 business leaders accompanying the PM on the junket to celebrate ‘100 years of mateship’ between Australia and the US."
Peter Freyberg would be happy for Renewables to be closed down.
Turnbull along with many of his coalition colleagues are anti renewables as it is competition to coal. The Coalition recieve election donations through the one third overseas funded Minerals Council of Australia.
Note Turnbull is not interested in supporting the battery metals sector.
Lithium
Rare earths
EV car industry.
Vanadium sector.
Wave energy except through Arena which I am sure Turnbull would like to close down.
We have an incredible unimaginative Government that understand zero about innovation except how to say the word.
My concern if, and I could be wrong, if the liberal form a Gov. or Xenophon has the balance of power, it will hinder opportunities for renewable energy in SA.
And hence our investment in CCE.
I accumulated more CCE today.
