There are a lot of funds (eg Super Funds) are restricted to investing in companies listed on the ASX200 or ASX300,
If you are in it, you attract a proportional investment by these funds, thus bringing in more buyers and liquidity of our stock.
If you are out of it, you don't attract any investment from these funds.
