In my situation as a net buyer of stocks over at least the next 27 years, I have absolutely no frustration with the share price not moving up on news. The cheaper it gets and the longer it stays cheap, the better for me as I get more cash to invest.
This point of view is obviously just suitable to me, I understand its different if your time horizon or reasons for investing are different.
If your investing in the fashion that I do (or at least think I do :P) then my conviction is not vindicated by the SP but rather the twice yearly result statements.
If you are investing long term and have conviction in your decision to invest - then maybe try not looking at the price for a month or two. It will be hard I can guarantee you - it is a challenge I often fail. But it will avoid the frustration you speak of.
If however, you are not in RXP for the long term and do not have conviction in the long term growth of the company but would rather a quick profit from a speedy re-rating of the company - then this post has been a waste of time lol!
P.S - I do tend to agree with you about the seller's actions, they are determined!
