Still about 6-9 weeks until the daily deluge finishes over in Carajas. Luckily it's not an El-nino year. Check out that 3 year spike where days of rain and rainfall total smashed the area Dec-June repeatedly. For those interested, the lowest trough (rainfall days and amount of rain) begins in June or July (sometimes August!). March is usually the wettest month (avg 25 days of rain, but totals will be less this year from the trends we're seeing now). Last year it was April that was peak rain days and rain totals.. hopefully this year it's March..

If rainfall does peak in April with 100+ mm falling over the month, then it makes it difficult to get accurate drill samples. So hopefully the boys are working hard behind their desks to get some deals done and pushing the enviro permit along so when the rain does stop, they're ready to smash some targets.

That's the key. Good results from freehold itty - lovely; permit for drilling Salobo - phew, my $20,000 worth of OB's might be worth something. They sure love making it a cliff hanger.. No doubt they feel the pressure themselves, Gordon et al. hold a significant chunk of those OB's, it would kill for them to be worth nothing by Aug.
