The fact the board is unanimously recommending the offer before there is even a formal offer on the table makes me think they don't have a lot of other opportunities to get the resource into production. If the offer does fall over and nobody else comes in then it might be a case of waiting for the gold price to improve enough to make the project viable. The current SP reflects the risks involved.
