RoundHouse Prospect – Navarro County, TX

Tanos Exploration has recently brought in Texoz E&P, a subsidiary of Texon Petroleum Ltd., as a joint venture partner to test the companies horizontal oil prospect on the west side of the East Texas basin. The proposed horizontal project will attempt to extend the productive oil trend from Cheneyboro field along strike in a northeast direction. Cheneyboro has produced over 3.5 MMBO and 22.6 Bcf since its discovery in 1978. The joint venture partners believe that by utilizing modern horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing techniques, the oil production from the naturally-fractured Cotton Valley limestone can be extended over the prospect area. We have amassed over 9,000 gross acres in the prospect and plan to test the concept with a horizontal well in the first half of 2013
