I think at the end of the day what people want to know is that the mine is economical in todays terms regarding price of gold v’s cost to mine and processing it.
Once the company makes the call and says it believes it is viable after looking at the figures then things will take off.
I don’t know enough about costs and head grades etc to know for sure at this stage and with our own processing plant the cost must be significantly lower than most other similar mines and grades dug up.
The company seems to feel the grades are good enough to ramp up to mining status based on the announcements made so far.
Only the company knows the true cost of processing and running the stuff through the plant and I get the feeling the processing is significantly cheaper than what some feel it is.
Only time will tell who is right, however the A2 mine is viable on 4.5 and they just came up with figure of 4.7 so that’s pretty encouraging I would think.
