By using the term “resource” hotrod could be taken to mean that a geologist used drilling grades to justify calculating a resource grade of 10g/t non that the drill graded themselves 10g/t. That is how the previous JORC at MStar was calculated  (by applying a historically proven multiplier to the drill grade as correlated by mined grades). T suggested this to your post K and you also alluded to it. So you all said the same thing but instead of acknowledging that some of you (K) chose to miss the semantics. T tried to tell you that. Also, what H said about the 10g/t is on the money in that for a complicated non bulk mining underground gold mine to be economic the typical head grade put to the mill needs to be around 10 but no where less than 6g/t historically. Whether it’s 6 or 10 depends on cost per tonne and where the gold price sits. So, on balance, my view is that H, K and T all basically said the same thing so no arguments necessary. The only semantics here are obviously between different levels of experience. Care needs to be taken when posting mining technical information between those who obviously know mining from experience and those who don’t but are carefully restating what they are devining from asx releases else unnecessary argument and personal sentiment arises. Personally I keep an eager eye on upside countered by a healthy dose of downside scepticism because gold mining is not civil engineering. Krum
