You surprise me with your post Mate. So you really don't know what numbers of rental listing are being done by private landlord in Australia. Also, Rent.com.au is not only targeting private landlord, but they have been increasing agents sign up and numbers of listing along with full regional sales team in place followed by upcoming media advertisement. Also, they are only just listing property but providing numbers of other future benefits to agents, landlords + rentals. However, its takes time to make such business fully profitable overnight. Not just such tech business, but look at any other business including mining, biotech, infrastructres; companies spend millions in first few years just to successfully set up businness and also does numbers of CR along the way. Even numbers of blue chips are currently not making much profit but operating under millions of dollars debt. Do you think all investors running away.

Mate, looking at numbers blue chips & large to small cap companies in ASX, I believe RNT could proven to be one the better investments in coming year. However, only time will tell .

IMO, RNT is now coming out of the over sold territory and will not go back to below 20c unless something really weird pops up, which i highly doubt.
