Michael; You still don't understand the small start up business. You don't have to completely compete against major players. All we need in next year or two is to have very small portion of the business and keep feet firm in the business by implementing bit different concepts than majors (which Rent.com.au has it), stick to business plan, look for more opportunity and options for growth, try to do as much as possible and meet the target, which i believe RNT is well advanced in achieving all targets. Such achievement is even without major sales team on board in each and every states and also without any TV/media marketing.

RNT is not equal competitor of domain or REA and hence trading barely around EV of $15m. Anything around 15-30m is fair value currently.

People used to say same thing about ZIP, NOR and many mobile tele start up but look at where they are in terms of MC and return on SP within a year. Yes, not everyone can be successful but that where smart mind comes in picture.

Not everyone need to be convinced about business and growth for each and every company otherwise; everyone would be warren buffet and like other successful investors and so ultimately none would able to make money. The reason behind successful investors is to pick up more successful business & good story well ahead of the crowd and getting right more than they being wrong .
