These sorts of meetings usually are over in under 5 minutes, have no presentation and Q&A, and are merely a formal exercise to pass a resolution. I would be very surprised if there were more than 4-5 attendees at the GM and would be extremely surprised if any shareholder paid for flights to and accommodation in Brisbane to attend that 5 minute show.
As for ALK launching a competing, higher takeover bid I would think the chances of that are very remote at this stage of the game, 3 months after the RMS bid was announced.
