Great stuff,

One thing about Korea that people do need to be aware of of is that there IS a level of corruption.
Korean society is basically Confucianism with some modern aspects thrown in.
But that may have changed a lot over the last 10-15 years.
So the corruption tends to be of the nepotistic/social status kind of. But general fairly soft stuff, not the out and out bastardry you get from the likes of the Chinese and Thai.
Although boy did I seem some dozys when at Samsung
The SK geology looks extremely interesting to say the least, still doing massive research.
For example there appears to be a HUGE volcanoclastic province that looks like it barely been touched.
