I can't find the article now, but I think the current Koodaidairi timeline is roughly: Final Investment Decision end of 2018, starting construction in 2019. As we've seen though, these things drag out and NRW already said in one of those presentations that things are happening more slowly than expected to date.
I think the way these things are going is ECI contracts awarded followed by smaller preparatory work projects. I'm vaguely expecting eg a $30m contract later this year for early work. Then if all goes well a conditional award for major rail and/or civil work early next year, conditional on Final investment signoff mid year.
All wild guesses, and assuming NRW capitalises on it's advantages from ECI - but I think that probably fits with experience and the limited data we have so far..
Anyone else think differently to that?
