I guess whether investing in KDL is right for you or not will depend on

a) your ethics after what they did to their employees and creditors when they shut the mine down
b) whether or not you think that you can trust the directors after their previous financial forecast announcements based on presumptions that they would get a better deal with Tiffany's that didn't happen

Everyone is entitled to their own views and thoughts on ethical investing etc and is free to decide whether or not any particular company meets their requirements for ethical investing. KDL's past means that they don't meet my requirements for ethical investing however there are 100's of other ASX companies that do so I'm not limited on good options as to where I can put my money, however as I said - everyone is free to decide for themselves.
