I think the ageing fleet will be a concern in the next 5-10 years with no real aircraft to replace it. We will see cost increases in the future with need for new avionics packages and the cost of parts. The profit seen would be partly pushed by the reduction of wage costs due to significant losses in pilot numbers over the off peak period (Christmas to February) which was quite convenient. That alone saved them 2.5 million in wages. It will be interesting to say the least what the future holds for Rex.
