Hibernating. It's activity and heart rate have slowed to such a point that it appears dead when it actuality it's conserving energy to emerge this summer and clean rip the face off everything in it's vicinity.
A lot different to something that's actually dead, like say...your brain maybe. In which case all cognitive function has ceased completely it would seem.
