Key value proposition when I invested in YOW back in 2014/2015 was the fact that they had sole patent for egg shaped chocolates with a toy inside till 2018/2019 (cant remember now) in the US market. That was the moat and 2014-2018 was the time when the company was supposed to capture a large market share and get a loyal customer following before the competitors entered the market. Clearly that has not taken place and the opportunity was squandered for a myriad of reasons. Now that other competitors are entering the marketing with deeper pockets, well known brand and distribution network , the company is going to struggle even with the new management.
