In the last 2 years, KBL has doubled plant throughput giving it the flexibility to process multiple ore types simultaneously.
Logically this brings the mine life back from 10 years to 5. Good point.
It is an operating mine and most operating mines extend the minelife as they go. Triaco Resources first developed the Mineral Hill mine in the 1980s. KBL has updated the plant and got the mine running profitably. The area is well mineralised and under explored... Pearce North is 200 mtrs from the Pearce deposit and was overlooked until recently.
The plan has been to use the profits from Mineral Hill to develop Sorby Hills, which are the crown jewels of KBL. The profits are now coming. With the Mineral Hill mine running properly they can give Sorby Hills the attention it deserves. It seems they may have 5 years to do it.
It is likely the can find more economiacally mineable metal at Mineral Hill; time will tell.
