And the same thing happened to me with someone in CTP, who claimed he had the finger on the pulse at all times, let alone the in the know contacts, to buy as many CTP options that I could because they were going to be worth squillions.

Lucky that, for certain reasons which I don't want to share here, I didn't believe to what he was preaching to me and I didn't buy any. As a matter of facts I sold out of nearly everyone I was holding at the time. Why...??? Well gut feeling they call it.

Soon after those priceless options expired worthless but guess what, when this person was asked how much he lost in the options, his reply was that he didn't loose anything because he sold out long before they expired for a big fat zero.

Perhaps he was trying to do to me what that broker did to you. Who knows...but chances are that he was.

That person was then immediately cancelled from the recipients of my Xmas Cards list.
