The AXP SP at the time of the Jan CR was around $1.07. The issue price was 92-ish (from memory). The new volume pushed the market cap down to around 90 cents. Stands to reason that some of that CR stock could have found itself in a "stag profit" situation until the SP fell below 92 cents.
I just bought a few more at 89 cents...
