Happens to the best of us. I wish I learnt but I never seem to.
I'm sitting on decent losses these last couple of years. Should have just put my money in a term deposit, would be ahead over the 12 years plus I've been in the market! Wish at times I'd never discovered the ASX but it must be the gambler in me that keeps me invested.
I can say that Innate Immunotherapeutics (IIL) failed its trial and was sitting on $2m cash. They then did a deal with a private biotech called Amplia (Dr Behrenbruch is involved there) and did a reverse takeover. When the deal came through, IIL went from $0.03 to about $0.09 I think if my memory serves correctly. Not saying it will happen here but possible.
