I've been wondering if the GGX deal didn't have 2 core purposes:
1. GGX being out of cash and desperately requiring OIP's 2. Giving DM control of OIP once ESG gets taken over
2. never really occured to me, but thinking things through, ESG's stake would have been immensely diluted had the transaction gone ahead. Any prospective purchaser of ESG would have lost a signfincant controlling stake in the company. Perhaps option 2 was a (or potentially THE motivating factor)?
Thoughts?
